Magda Rose Paz has the distinction of being a Waldorf alumna of the Rogue Valley’s first Waldorf school, the Light Valley Waldorf School. After graduating high school from St Mary’s and getting her BS at Lewis and Clark College, she trained to become a Waldorf teacher. She received an MS in Waldorf Teacher Education through Sunbridge College in NY and then completed the Waldorf Remedial training program at the Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento. A true utility player, Magda supported the Siskiyou School in a variety of ways for 17 years.

Bearing witness to and nurturing human development is what brings Magda joy and inspiration as an educator. She believes an educational approach which attends to the whole being (physical, emotional, and mental) nurtures a lifelong love of learning and the ability to inhabit one’s personhood, build relationships, and operate from a place of authenticity along life’s journey.
